This kind of takes place in the universe I’ve created for many of my yet-to-be-written stories.
An army of oddly human-looking aliens were attempting to takeover the Earth, one city at a time.
Humans were captured and used as slaves, though they were still allowed some limited freedom and conveniences.
They made two major mistakes, however.
1: Accidentally ‘capturing’ a deity (‘played’ by me in this dream).
2: Setting foot in his kingdom’s jurisdiction.
“So, tell me something.” I said to one of my would-be captors, who was dressed as some sort of security guard.
“What is it, human?” he said in a disgusted tone.
“Have you ever heard of the kingdom of Darstellung?”
“Nothing but a myth, and urban legend.”
“Perhaps… Do you know of their Prince?”
“Er… I think it was Levendium?”
“Lavender.” I said, my shape-shifting spell fading. “Lavender Tranakal.”
The aliens face went pale. No-longer was he looking at what he thought was a human. He was now face-to-face with a white, humanoid, rabbit wearing an old U.S. Civil War uniform.
A massacre ensued. Some had their entire upper bodies frozen, then shattered. Some had their flesh burned off, and other were electrocuted.
In hindsight, I probably should have kept some alive for questioning.
After the one-sided battle, I went outside the building to greet an old friend, a royal from another kingdom. Though female, she was referred to as a prince.
We went inside, and I explained what had happened.
“In hindsight, I should have left some alive for questioning.”
“Might’ve helped.”
“I do, however, have some tech-savvy people working to crack their computer system to gain information.” I turned to a man typed frantically on a computer. “Any progress, Jim?”
“Kind of. Dudes were incompetent, but damn they know how to make a good firewall.”
